Payment Firm One Payment Acquired by Aurora for an Undisclosed Amount

US Paytech, Arizona’s Aurora Payment has announced that it is acquiring Florida-based One Payment for a sum that remains confidential. Aurora Payment, spread across the East Coast of the US and with $1 bn annual payments being processed, is sure to help scale up Aurora’s platform, the latter feels.

Speaking about the acquisition, CEO of Aurora, Brian Goudie is confident that One Payment, firmly rooted in the East Coast, will add to Aurora’s market value and diversified strategy.

One Payment has over 6,000 vendors in its kitty and focuses extensively on SMBs owned by minorities. Co-founded by Luis Requejo and Jorge Calzadilla, its expertise includes payment processing for the hospitality industry, the service industry, and retailers. With this merger, One payment will now be in a position to widen its reach by being part of Aurora’s cutting-edge technology and payment ecosystem.

The acquisition will bring One payment to its next level of massive growth, according to Requejo, Co-founder of One Payment.
