Fintech Alliance Investment Series 2023 to Assist Startups

It is more difficult for young FinTech startups to raise capital in today’s economic climate. FinTech Alliance, a digital ecosystem funded by the UK Government, is hosting an investment series in 2023 between April to June. It assists startups in learning about their funding alternatives, connecting with investors, and refining their fundraising techniques. Networking chances for investors and founders will be provided alongside expert help in creating a pitch deck, approaching investors, presenting a business, and negotiating terms.

More than 140 FinTech businesses raised or planned to raise funds with the support of 80 prominent investors from private equity organizations, venture capital, angel, and corporate venture capital during the previous version of the Fintech Alliance investment series. More than £55 million was raised by the businesses. This year’s investment aims to provide FinTech startup founders with actionable guidance on managing their firms and acquiring capital. Each section of the FinTech Alliance platform—talent, regulation, and community building—will serve as a gateway to the most up-to-date resources in terms of knowledge, contacts, and guidance from industry veterans.

Hundreds of investors and Fintechs attended the last series, with some businesses going on to raise financing successfully or receive insightful comments. Investors such as Albion VC, Insight Partners, Blackrock and Augmentum will be present at a Pitch Day for founders actively seeking funding. FinTech Alliance, the Department of Foreign Trade, London & Partners, Innovate Finance, FinTech North, FinTech Scotland, FinTech Wales, FinTech West, FinTech Northern Ireland, and future partners are responsible for the Investment Series.
